Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and the services provided by SimplyScale ("I", "me", "my"), a sole trader based in Swindon, Wiltshire. By using the site or engaging my services, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email me at contact@simplyscale.co.uk before proceeding.

The services

I provide local SEO, web design, and CRM & automation services for local businesses, offered as monthly packages (Starter, Growth and Dominate) or as otherwise agreed with you. The exact scope of your package is confirmed in writing before work begins. Prices shown on the site start "from" the stated amount; your final monthly price is agreed on a call and confirmed before you commit.

Billing and payment

• Services are billed monthly in advance at the price agreed with you.
• There are no long-term contracts — plans run month to month.
• Invoices are due on the date stated. Late or failed payments may result in services being paused until payment is brought up to date.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time with no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month; payments already made for the current month are non-refundable. On cancellation, ongoing work (such as active SEO and automations) stops at the end of the paid period.

Your responsibilities

To deliver the best results, I'll need you to provide accurate information and any access, content or approvals I reasonably request in good time. Delays in providing these may affect timelines. You're responsible for ensuring any material you give me doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

Intellectual property

Once your account is paid up to date, you own the website content and assets created specifically for your business. Underlying tools, systems, templates and know-how I use to deliver the service remain mine. Third-party platforms (such as the CRM) remain subject to their own licences.

Results

I work hard to improve your visibility and lead flow and have a strong track record, but search rankings and lead volumes depend on factors outside my control (such as Google's algorithms and your market). I therefore can't guarantee specific rankings, traffic or revenue.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, my total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the issue arose, and I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or business interruption.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version published here, with the "last updated" date above, is the one that applies.
